Anybody here own one of these?  I am looking to buy one and wonder what kind
of gas mileage they get.  the owner said it only got about 18, that seems
pretty low for a 5 speed, 4 cyl.  Also, is it common for the tappets to be a
little noisy?

I am considering buying an FX35. But, it seems to me from Consumer Reports
that it only takes premium gasoline. Does anyone know if it is true? Does
the user manual recommend that?

I had a small fire in my engine compartment yesterday on my 99 Frontier. It
appears to have started at the alternator. The fire damage was basically

It's time to replace the shocks on my beloved truck. I engage in some
off-road activity, but nothing very serious. I understand Bilstein (sp?)
etc. offer some excellent shocks, but they probably would be overkill
for my use pattern.

Anyone know where I can get a service manual for a 2000 (X-plate)
Primera Sport+ in the UK?  The Haynes range seems to run out at the end

Took my Nissan Sentra in to the dealership for some recallsa and was
advised that the car could use a maintanance service, as it's over 60K now
!!

I have a 1997 Primera. The aircon doesn't seem to make the air any
colder than it gets without the aircon switch pressed. The fluid looks
a little low. Woukd that cause the problem?

I've got a 2001 Infiniti I30 Touring package (which includes the
"sports" tuned suspension).  The car has always had something of a
"bumpy" ride when going over bad portions of roads (potholes, speed
bumps), but overall I've felt the ride was smooth when the road was

When starting up the car (Sentra 2001 GXE), I can feel engine
vibrations/shaking (feels kind of like "wave throw") during the warm
up. Do not notice any shaking on highway.
Any ideas what this might be ? Any suggestions ?

Two mechanics have now spent a total of 5 hours on my son's car and we are
not much further on with the engine problem that I described here 20
February. (It starts OK then cuts out after about 2-3 minutes, then starts
instantly, then cuts out again etc.)
