rev limited to 2500 rpm22 Mar 2005 19:07 GMT1
I got a 1990 Nissan Axxess van and after a while of driving, the rpm is
limited to 2500rpm, got codes from the ecu code 14 for vehicle speed sensor.
I'm an apprentice at GM and to my knowledge the engine doesn't need a vss
input to run fine especially being a 5spd. cleared codes ...

1995 Maxima Ignition21 Mar 2005 22:15 GMT4
I have an intermitant problem with the ignition in a 95 maxima. It
seems that when the key is turned to start the car many times nothing
happens. No clicks - nothing. I suspect a switch or relay control, not
the actual key lock mech. Of course I could be wrong. Before I
ABS warning - PF21 Mar 2005 17:34 GMT3
'93 Pathfinder: The ABS (anti-lock brake system) warning light in the dash
is staying on.
Anyone know if this is a sure sign of something critical? Or if it can be
ignored for a time? Or anybody know anything :-)
NEW (2004) Sentra parts for removal/sale21 Mar 2005 14:56 GMT7
Have two things willing to remove/sell from 2004 Sentra that's been lightly
used/garaged (never exposed to heavy rain, etc.) with 3.1K miles, may be
extremely strange but unlike most people I dont use these:
1) Airconditioning.  I am a kind of environmentalist and feel OK just by
Need aluminum-wheel scratch fixing21 Mar 2005 14:56 GMT1
Can you people suggest how to repair aluminum-alloy wheels: heavy
scratches/bruises (from curbside/parking)?
I assume it requires to know the type of coating/finish, don't know much
about cars - wheels purchased by myself/installed by the dealer, look highly
99 Max SE - line near oil filter21 Mar 2005 05:39 GMT1
On a 99 Max there is a small line (or lines) that come together and are
strapped to a small metal extension directly below where the oil filter
meets the mounting. It's a rather inconvenient location because every time
you change the filter, dirty oil runs down over the point ...
Pathfinder tranny/t-case slipping?21 Mar 2005 02:04 GMT3
LMy brother had an unfortunate incident in his '93 Pathy (auto tranny) a few
months ago in which he managed to submerge the front half of his truck in a
river. Yeah, I know. After replacing the ECM, starter, alternator, and a
whole host of fluids (PS, tranny, diffs, oil, etc..) the ...
Timing Belt Slack20 Mar 2005 14:23 GMT3
Have a 1990 Pathfinder, VG30 engine, I believe, on which I've changed
the timing belt about three times now - twice on schedule, and one extra
when I replaced a water pump.
My question is that I'm amazed at how much they seem to stretch.  When

Hello all;
I have a 1993 Nissan 240sx convertible, which normally runs pretty
well,
except for one issue.  Sometimes, after a cold start, it will not shift
Door problems (95 Maxima)19 Mar 2005 03:50 GMT1
A few days ago, after unlocking my driver's side door (power locks) and
getting out of the car, I pushed the door lock to the locked position, and
moved the door to close it, but the door would not catch and close...it
would bounce off and stay open.  My dad fiddled around with ...
