Timing chain problem in a NISSAN ALTIMA21 Apr 2006 19:52 GMT3
+I intend to buy a 1997 Nissan Altima, GXE 119,000 miles for 3000 USD.
This car looks good but when I brought it to an automechanic, he told
me that there is a noise in timing chain. He just took a glance and
heard the sound from the engine.

My son has a 2003 Nissan Sentra XE with a manual transmission.  Several
times in the past month he (or I) have turned the key and all we get is a
high speed relay chatter.  It's rather loud and can be heard well outside
the car.  Of course all the dashboard lights are going nuts.  ...

when I turn on the left turn signal, there are 3 cases:
1.  the car still running without break pedal pressed, the left turn
signal indicator is flashing at normal speed.

I recently bought a used 96 altima which has been giving me a good
amount of trouble. It takes a very long time to start up, but does so

I've checked for vacuum leaks and I'm relatively sure there are none.
I've checked the fuel pressure, and it's within spec.  The regulator behaves

Hi. My rack and pinion boot is showing wear in two of the ribs at the
end that connects to the tie rod. I'm wondering if it is advisable to

i am trying to help a woman in college figure out what is wrong w/ her
'94 sentra.  the check engine lite is on and i am certain that there is
a way to extract the codes w/o a computer reader.  anyone know the
procedure?
