My 96 (N) micra makes a rumbling grinding noise whilst running. It
sounds similar to a noisy bearing like a wheel bearing or siezed on
caliper thats rubbing on the brake disk.
The engine sounds fine in nuetral you can rev it and it sounds normal.

I am curious if anyone has replaced a 4th generation Maxima water pump
before.  I am thinking about doing it myself.  I have done many things
to my car myself but I am leery about this work.  I have the Haynes
book as well as DIY instructions from other Maxima sites.

Can someone tell me how to change the AC belt on an '04 Frontier 2.4L?  The
front two belts were simple enough but I do not see where to relieve the
tension on the AC belt.  I loosened the two top screws on the compressor but
it won't move.  Am I supposed to remove the two bolts ...
