I have a brand new (bought in January) 2007 Versa. When I got it the tire pressure on all 4 was set at 40 PSI. I have left it at that value since the dealer/factory set it.

My 96 (N) micra makes a rumbling grinding noise whilst running. It sounds similar to a noisy bearing like a wheel bearing or siezed on caliper thats rubbing on the brake disk. The engine sounds fine in nuetral you can rev it and it sounds normal.

Nissan says 3-4 weeks to get a driver's side lower control arm. The ball joint is fine, but the bushings are shot. WTF! I have a 2001 Sentra SE. Why should I ever buy another Nissan car? It is not like my car is an antique, they should be able to predict the need for these parts ...

I am curious if anyone has replaced a 4th generation Maxima water pump before. I am thinking about doing it myself. I have done many things to my car myself but I am leery about this work. I have the Haynes book as well as DIY instructions from other Maxima sites.
