Well, after 333,000 good miles my 1987 E16S Sentra has developed a very unstable idle. It started out as occasional stalling during warm- up. It got worse and began a rolling idle (rpm up and down) when cold and during warm up with more frequent stalling during warm up. Now

Have a fried with a 97 Altima. 118K miles. Starting to stall. Sometimes it will idle fine and sunddenly bog down. He was told that it is possibly the mass air sensor. I do not know the failure mechanism of this sensor but it doesn't make sense to me that it would run fine ...

Car has almost 160,000 miles on it. Doesn't burn oil. Transmission seems to work fine. Automatic. AC works fine.

I have been trying to find a retractable tonneau (cargo area) cover for the Pathfinder. I had one on my 2004 Pathfinder. The knockouts appear to be there to install one and the rear quarter interior panels are molded to accept a fully closed one.

95 Nissan PU. My check engine light comes on at idle. Sometimes, if I gently press on the gas, there is a dead spot before the engine will pickup. Is there a way to find out what the computer thinks is wrong, other then take to some auto shop?

I noticed my engine got hot today, sure enough, it needed water but the fans werent running, while filling the radiator they kicked in, then shut down again. I turned on the AC but neither fan kicked in and it didnt get cool air pumped out. Its a 92 Stanza XE, 100k miles, 2.4 ...
