| 1991 Nissan Pathfinder Headlight problems | 31 Dec 2007 16:55 GMT | 3 |
I bought a 1991 Pathfinder back in July, and the first thing I noticed was that the high beams didn't work. When I'd try to turn them on, the low beams would shut off, leaving me in the dark. I was packing up for a trip to the ocean when I discovered that my left headlight was out.

| 1995 Sentra cooling system capacity | 31 Dec 2007 02:09 GMT | 5 |
I opened the drain on the bottom of the radiator, and all that came out was about 3 quarts (I believe the capacity is 6 in an 1.6lL A/T model). Is there an air relief plug somewhere that will let out the rest?

| Location of VSS 96 Sentra ??? | 31 Dec 2007 01:15 GMT | 3 |
I have a 96 Sentra 1.6 liter engine, automatic. I thought I found my VSS, which was on the front of the trans, right on the edge of the bell housing. One 10 mm bolt holding it in. Removed it easily, and looked at it. It had no gear on it. It was just

| What tire pressure for '90 Maxima SE w/ Michelin Pilot Alpins? | 21 Dec 2007 17:06 GMT | 2 |
I don't understand what tire pressure I should use for my '90 Maxima SE with Michelin Pilot Alpins. The manual says to look on the console, but any information there disappeared before I bought the car (I'm at least the 4th owner).

| 2004 Maxima SE Auto Brake Pedal Applied Causes ABS / Pump Each = VDC | 21 Dec 2007 01:21 GMT | 1 |
All surfaces when the brakes are applied cause the "crunching" / ratcheting sound coming from the drivers side. This is on dry normal surfaces. I pulled the VDC fuse and now it's OK. So this tells me the car thinks every brake application is a skid. Where do I start ?

| 2004 Maxima SE ABS Pump | 19 Dec 2007 12:04 GMT | 2 |
Seems the car is pulsing when pressing the brake pedal is pushed. PepBoys says the ABS pump is bad...Nissan parts counter says $ 1,282.00. Seems rare for this to happen. Any recent Maximas have this issue / replace the ABS pump ?

| Giving it the boot | 15 Dec 2007 02:23 GMT | 10 |
My son-in-law's '95 Altima needs a replacement right outer CV boot. The original has failed. My preference is to install one of those split boots rather than go to the trouble of pulling the hub and all that rigmarole. What brand split boot would you recommend?
