I have a 97 Nissan Sentra with 133.000 miles on it. Replaced the
battery 2 month ago. Although whenever I would start the car the
starter would go very slow, so like with a low battery. Yesterday the
starter went so slow that the car wouldn't start anymore. Tried to
Erratic Tachometer on '87 Pulsar11 Feb 2008 23:44 GMT3
I have an '87 Pulsar (E16i SOHC) Engine with 155,000 miles on it.  For
the last couple of days the tachometer has been fluctuating
inconsistently with the true RPM of the engine.  For example, I'll be
driving at 65 MPH with the tach reading around 3000 RPM (normal) and

My 96 Sentra GXE is leaking oil.  I inspected it closely and noticed
that there is quite a bit of oil on the underside of the distributor
and the surrounding area.  I took off the distributor cap today, and,
it was not wet on the inside of the distributor.   I would appreciate
Homelink programming ARG!06 Feb 2008 04:07 GMT1
I just can't do it. I have tried numerous instructions to program my
Homelink for my new garage door openers. It worked fine for the old
ones, which were NOT rolling code type openers.
The new ones are Genie brand rolling code. I follow the instructions
170º or 180º replacement thermostat?06 Feb 2008 03:36 GMT4
There are replacement thermostats in 170, 180, and 192 degrees. Which
one is right for a 93 SentraXE with GA16DE engine & manual transmission?
Someone told me the engine will waste gas if you choose too cold a
thermostat. Is there any harm (or benefit) using one 10º higher than

1987 Nissan Sentra Choke Problem?04 Feb 2008 03:18 GMT1
I have a 1987 Nissan Sentra California model.
When I go to start it when it is cold I press the gas pedal to the floor and
release it and then turn the key.
The car starts fine with a nice fast idle.
E-code headlights for Altima?02 Feb 2008 19:59 GMT4
1996 Altima GXE. What are the options for better lighting? Many European cars
can be retrofitted with "e-code" lamps, giving sharp cut-off, accept e3
bulbs, and such.
What are my options with this car's lighting?

Ok. The battery issue was resolved, but now I have a separate issue.
How do you get the RADIATOR GRILLE out?
I’m trying to take out the plastic crome radiator grille. I removed the
side lamps and the top clips holding the grille but….
'98 Frontier. Overvoltage?01 Feb 2008 08:00 GMT2
There are some salt deposits and corrosion around the battery of my ’98
Nissan Frontier 4WD. I sparyed the area with a solution of baking soda and
rinsed well. I assume that the battery is deteriorating so I will soon
change it.
