my 1999 nissan pathfinder has a problem with the fan blower switch, which has the range of: 'off-1-2-3-4' . the problem is (and it just happened suddenly as opposed to gradually), is that only fan speed '4' works. speeds 1-2-3 no longer function.

My newphew changed the intake and there is a hose that is about 10" running up from the transmission case. Appears to be some type of air hose. Is it supposed to attach to the intake and if so what purpose ?

I tried to change the coolant in my 2002 Nissan Frontier V6, all I did was open the drain screw and the radiator cap, and emptied the overflow reservoir. In my other cars, that's all I had to do. Only a bit over a gallon came out. The capacity is supposed to be 11-5/8
