my nephew inherited my dad's 1985 (I think) Olds Delta-88 Royal Brougham and
he's having trouble finding parts for it.  He specifically can't seem to
find a replacement opera light (elongated light on the pillar between the
front and back doors).  Does anyone know where to get these ...

My remote sender is just about worn out. Called up my local GM dealer and they
want $125.00 for a new one, which I think is crazy. Can these be gotten after
market any place?

Some other questions as well, but first the cruise.  I just got a 87 delta
88 royale from an uncle.  I know he was the 2nd owner and he and the
previous owner took good care of it, it only has 76K miles on it currently.

I have a knock in the transmission.  It mainly  happens when the car
is cold started in PARK. When I shift to R or D the knock stops. When
the engine is warm and is restarted the knock is usually not there.
