Hi all:  Recently, the remote door lock/unlock and trunk unlock features on
my 92 cut. ciera have been malfunctioning intermittently.  I'm having the
same experience with both of the remote sending units, and I've changed the
batteries several times in each so I'm sure the ...

I have tried in vain to get this problem solved, and I have finally
decided to try the vast knowledge of other Olds owners.
I have a 1985 Cutlass Ciera 3.0L 2bl carb with 40,000 original
miles(literally owned by a old lady).  When I received it, I replaced

89 Cutlass Ciera Brakes14 Mar 2006 02:43 GMT5
Just wondering if replacing the front and/or rear brakes on this car are
something I can tackle myself.  It's my son's car and I've done brakes
before but not in a good 20 years or so when I worked on my own cars (pre
new-age electronic systems, etc)
99 Alero oddities (Traction / antilock brakes / speedometer)14 Mar 2006 02:42 GMT1
Lately, I've been been seeing my Traction Off warning light go on at
very low speeds (and reverse).  Every once in a while, it stays on for
the duration of a trip, with the anti-lock brake sensor lighting up.
Once, at low speeds, I felt and heard rattling in the tires - the

cruise doesn't work.  Checked all the fuses, and they all ...

'87 Olds Ciera Steering Column11 Mar 2006 15:43 GMT1
I bought a sweet '87 Olds Cutlass Ciera at auction but it didn't pass
inspection due to a loose steering column. Any advice in getting this
fixed would be greatly appreciated.
Attn: Silver...10 Mar 2006 22:55 GMT1
Silver,
I'm limited on the time I can work on the car but here is a follow up
on my problem:
Q: Do you have confidence in the accuracy of your temperature gauge?
2001 Alero temperature problem09 Mar 2006 23:41 GMT5
Since my temperature guage wasn't working, I replaced the temperature
sending unit which I have to do about every year on this car. However,
