Alero tie rod ends04 Apr 2006 05:33 GMT2
Swapped my snow tires for all seasons this weekend and noticed plaay in
either the left tie rod end or steering knuckle. Hard to pinpoint without
popping the tie rod out.
Is this a common failure on these cars?

 im trying to replace the ignition control module but cant seem to get the
bottom bolt out.How can i do it, the ac line is in the way, its a 3.1
engine.

The driver's seat belt mechanism (the part that the the latch buckles into)
is all mangled and the housing for the buckle is just gone/missing.  Where
can I get a replacement (push button buckle end) for it and how do I go
about replacing it?  I imagine the whole belt needs ...
Stripped threads on wheel lug nut wrench....now what?02 Apr 2006 17:46 GMT2
I've got an 89 Cutlass Ciera and I was trying to show my son (his car now)
the basics of how to change a flat tire.  The wrench part end that fits over
the lug nut is pretty much stripped and just turns over the nut edges when I
use the ratchet piece.

A while back I broke the tilt lever off accidentally. I'd like to replace it
but was wondering if there is a special tool or some trick to removing what
is left inside the steering column. I can still actuate it by pressing in
with my finger, but would like to repair it correctly ...
