we have a '95 olds ninety eight loaded to the hilt, you will be
driving along and the engine quits, when it does this at the same time
it puts our in the information panel on the dash

We have a 1994 Olds 88 (160,000 miles) that periodically in the last 2
-3 months will stop running and not restart.  At the same time, the
electrical locks, windows and mirror controls also stop working.
Sometimes after 1 or 2 hours it will then start up fine and run

Hmm, local gm dealer says the main cap bolts are no longer available.ARP
says they don't make them either. ARP has them for the 350. Aren't the 350's
and 307's the same? Got a 307 I was puttin back together and broke a main
bolt. Motor is assembled completely except for the cap ...

When I come to stop  and the engine starts to get to idle speed it
stalls out and usually wont start back up for anywhere for 30-45mins
then it will start and I can get a few more miles before it happens
again. I think it might be a fuel pump but not sure. when it stalls it
