I have a 406 2.0 SV 97-mod.
On the left side og the instrument panel is a gauge with a needle and a
scale with 'OFF', 'MIN' and 'MAX'.
The needle is constantly on 'OFF'.

My 306 HDi is due a 36000 service very soon. Local dealer has quoted
£295 - does this seem about right or should I shop around?

Today I have made 2 trip out in my 'G' reg 405 GLD, one of about 25 miles,
the other about 4. Both times the low coolant light has come on on the way
back home, and each time the expansion bottle has been empty requiring
almost 2 litres of water each time to refill.

Daughter's car needs an oil and filter change (1.9 S reg diesel).
Anyone know how much oil it takes including filter please?
No handbook supplied with the car!
