Sorry guys, this is probably just a bit of rant but if anyone has any good
advice about any of this (other than 'scrap the car') then I'd like to hear
it.
In the space of a week my trusty old 305 (yes, with my fuel injection

On start up, the steering is not a problem but after 10 miles or so, the

How do you do this, I have got the hose off fine, just wondering how to get
the old jet off before I can replace it. Do I unscrew it somehow or pull it
with pliers or something else?

Has anyone cracked the knotty problem of the disappearing clips that nold the
top cover onto the engine. Everyone I know who have cars with this engine have
lost all four in the first week or so. Also why does the dip stick always climb
out of it's tube? mine pops out and vibrates ...

The speedo in my wife's 206 from time to time stops working. Unfortunately I
don't know for how long, either time or distance, as it has never displayed
this problem when I've driven the car. Any thoughts out there or remedies.

Does anyone know exactly what it means when the stop warning light flashes
on the dash? I stopped the car and checked everything i could think of but

my rear wiper has stopped working on my 3 year old 306. The problem
began with the wiper only working intermittently but it has now packed
up completely although the washer is still pumping water.
Could this just be the relay. Anyone know how I can check if the realy

My son's J-Reg 205XL, TU engined, is difficult to start.
When cold it will only ever start by pumping the accelerator, regardless
of choke.
Fuel comes through the fuel pipe fine, so I think the pump and inline

My 206 is going in for a repair soon (under warrenty), when I booked
it in at a Peugeot dealer they asked me whether I would like a free
safety check, I said that as long as it didnt delay the repair then it
didn't matter.

My electric window is mis-behaving. It's supposed to drop 5mm when door is
open but sometimes goes up and down 5mm continuously while door open.
When closing window while door is closed it hits the top and then comes back
down 10cm.

so around a T reg. I am concerned about the reliability of Peugeots in
general compared to other model. I get the impression that they are more
unreliably that cars from other manufactures, or are the newer ...
