| 306 1.4 Differential | 23 Nov 2003 09:29 GMT | 3 |
I've got a noise coming from the front of my M reg 306 1.4, a bit like a ratchet clicking against a big turning cog (although my daughter described it like a big cat purring!). It only happens on decelleration, with or without brakes, and is only audible at lower speeds.

| ...put the (brake-) pedal to the metal... | 17 Nov 2003 17:00 GMT | 1 |
I can, without too much effort, floor the brake pedal in my '96 306. Does this seem to be a perfect power braking system or a fault in my brake system? Maybe air in the brakefluid, or water? Anyone an idea?
