306 1.4 Differential23 Nov 2003 09:29 GMT3
I've got a noise coming from the front of my M reg 306 1.4, a bit like a
ratchet clicking against a big turning cog (although my daughter described
it like a big cat purring!). It only happens on decelleration, with or
without brakes, and is only audible at lower speeds.

Nog mensen die een 406 hebben gekocht de laatste tijd met
voor 290 euro optioneel een navigatiesysteem, welke af fabriek
is ingebouwd in het dashbord?
Wie weet of hier ook zo een TMC module ingebouwd zit?

I've been losing about 500ml of coolant a day now is rather worrying, I took
it down the garage the other day and the guy did a pressure test on the
cooling system to find nada, so he kept the car and said he was gonna do a
gas test the next day (put some chemical into the cooling ...

Fuel economy of 307 110bhp HDi?18 Nov 2003 13:54 GMT8
I have had my new 307 DTurbo (110bhp) for about six weeks now, and I'm
concerned that my fuel economy is not as good as it should be.  I had
a 306 HDi before this which was returning about 44-45 mpg
(6.3l/100km), but my new car is only getting about 39-40 mpg

anything I can do or should this be a dealer job? The car is still
205 heater fan u/s17 Nov 2003 18:36 GMT3
The heater fan on my 205 has just packed up. I've checked the fuse and
that's ok. I assume the next thing to check is the fan itself. Could
anyone tell me where it is located and if it can be easily removed?
Thanks
...put the (brake-) pedal to the metal...17 Nov 2003 17:00 GMT1
I can, without too much effort, floor the brake pedal in my '96 306. Does
this seem to be a perfect power braking system or a fault in my brake
system? Maybe air in the brakefluid, or water?
Anyone an idea?
106XTD vaccum pump 17 Nov 2003 16:29 GMT3
According to my dealer, the vaccum pump used for assisting brakes is gone.
The result is very very heavy brake pedal. He replaced it and the new pump
