I recently had the shocks and rear stabilizers changed on my car
(yesterday). Since then, there has been a terrible sideways "wobble" on the
car during acceleration. The harder I accelerate, the more pronounced it is.

My 306 is pulling quite badly to the left on acceleration
and snaps back straight when easing off.  I had this on an
old Renault 5 and it turned out to be a track-rod end,

Only doing 31mpg on long runs. Noisy tappetty sound  from engine between
2K - 3K revs then disappears. New cambelt fitted but doing this before the
change.
Garage says ECU could be overfuelling the injectors at this rev range and

I understand from earlier threads that it is one of the connectors under the
seat.
But which one?

Just did an oil change on my 1.9TD S reg 306. In the Haynes manual think it
says 10w40 or 15w40 cant quite remember. Anyhow I bought some 10w40 from
Halfords and is said nothing bout Turbo engines infact it said suitable for
non turbo.....So I got 5w40 fully synthetic oil cos it ...

Does anyone have an secondhand engine 1.6L or 2.0L HDI?

I've got a 2001 Peugeot 406 Estate.
A couple of days ago the Air Bag warning light came on during
a journey. Next journey it did not, but now it is permanently on
(except for a brief flash at start up)

are there any peculiarities in changing glow plugs as a friend at work told me i have to disconect the battery

My warranty on my 306 Hdi runs out next March. Got a phone call from
the dealer yesterday offering an extra year for £229. Is this a good
deal, thinking of taking it but wondered what others think?

The fan on my 205 isn't working at all well and is a pain in this weather. I
want tio replace the fan itself.
Does the fan come out seperate to its motor? Is this an easy job to do?
Would appreciate any advice - hope to try and sort it soon, I'm fed up wuth
