XU questions08 Dec 2003 01:00 GMT1
Am i correct in assuming that all XU engines have the same engine mounts?
Specifically would a 2.1TD lump (which i assume is an XU) fit with mounting

And whats the most powerful XU engine you can get?  A 2l 16v 170bhp jobbie?

I traded in my old 306 1.6i XT for a 306 DTurbo yesterday, and this morning

We've just bought a 307 1.6 SE. It's all that we expected apart from

HDi running temperature07 Dec 2003 01:40 GMT4
I have recently bought a Peugeot 306 HDI 2.0 (90bhp model). It has 48k miles, works fine and gives me about 50mpg. I noted that the engine temperature gauge never reads above 75 degrees C - is this the normal running temperature of these engines or should it be higher? I thought ...

know anything about this?
