We to start my 306 TD(98) but it shown no sign of any power all lights and clock went off as I turned the key. Check the fuses which where all ok but then the car started fine. Has anyone had the same problem.

Is it a simple matter of removing the steering column plastic shrouding and removing the switch? Or is it slightly more difficult than that?

Am i correct in assuming that all XU engines have the same engine mounts? Specifically would a 2.1TD lump (which i assume is an XU) fit with mounting points desgned for a 1.9 petrol XU? And whats the most powerful XU engine you can get? A 2l 16v 170bhp jobbie?

Some time ago i had the airbag warning light flashing problem due to some connecter underneath the seats. pug dealers sorted it by soldering the wires under there and removing the connector block. all has been fine for a good while now, until today.

I am considering purchasing a 1999 106 1.5D with 96,000 miles on the clock. FSH, new alternator and battery, new cambelt. How are these for longevity? What tends to break at around this mileage?

I have a 97 D-turbo 306 and there is a factory fitted alarm in it. It has a seperate remote to arm and disarm the alarm and central locking. When i press the button all the doors lock apart from the drivers door does anyone know anything about this?
