I was out on the Web, and looked at the Gumball3000 site
(www.gumball3000.com), so far the most amazing race I've ever seen. I
dropped them a line asking if it was possible to run with a 205 Diesel, and
here's what they said :

Right got in my car this morning and i had to practically bail out the

there before but assumed it was coming through the door seals

My daughter has decided that she want to replace the front on her 2003
206 with an EVO front. I've been volunteered to do it so how easy is
it going to be?

Hello - has anyone succesfully fitted a third party sat nav unit to a 307
(xsi)?  I am specifically interested to know if it works ok with the
Blaupunkt CD changer and the steering wheel stalk mounted controls?

I'm wondering if I have a problem with the clutch on my 306 1.6i on a P
plate. Since I've had the car (1 year) the clutch has been very heavy to
push down. I have changed the clutch, cable and release arm bushes in the
bell housing. the pedal is free. Are all 306's heavy, or have I ...

I have a 205 diesel (manual). I plan to change the right hand drive shaft
because it currently sounds like the outer CV joint is going to fall to
pieces every time I turn a corner (clunk plink chung - people looking and
staring etc.).

The post is a little long, I have added quite some detail, but basically my
car wont start, it think it maybe alarm related as when I do get it started
(see below) the alarm goes off, with the lights flashing etc, no horn, but I
can still drive it, til I stop then it wont start ...

Ok when you go over the mileage when the car thinks it ought to be
serviced(a bit)
It appears to put up a spanner all the time in the odometer and starts
clocking up the miles since it thought it should have had a new filter.

I am going to buy an 806  MPV with 2.0CT engine (turbo gasoline) or
2.0i 16v. Does anyone has any experiences with these engines or cars?
I would appreciate any comment (positive or negative) or hint.

I have a 1998 Peugeot 406 GLX  which has the higher spec radio to support a
cd changer.  The vehicle is not fitted with the changer.  Is the CD cable
likely to be fitted & if so where do I find it.

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a replacement 306 three door
driver's side window motor/mech? Mine is making a clicking sound and the
window doesn't go down so I assume the gears have sheared. Is there any
posibility it'd be repairable or is replacement the only option?

I have a pug 306 1.6 XS 1996 and its a pain in the arse!! when first
starting the car it ticks over fine no problems.  But as soon as it
starts to get a little warm things start to happen, like irratic idle
