I`ve got a 1.6 GTI and have been offered a rear beam,discs,calipers etc from a 1.9... Now i guess it`s not just a straight swap... but what are the difference and what else will i need to do to do this mod !!

When turning sharp corners in my 106 the two red lamps in the main display light up, just until the car stops turning. One is oil, and the other is overheating I think. Why?

Over the weekend I've noticed that when I'm driving along a right hand bend my handbrake light comes on/flickers. When I straighten up it's okay again. It is relatively intermittent, but happens more often than not. I would 'think' this is the switch being problematic? Where is this ...

I notice that the 307 has clocked up another lousy result in the 2004 JD Power Survey (118th out of 120). Our two-year old 1.6 Rapier isn't that bad actually (Peueot have FINALLY fixed the resonating exhaust), but maybe it's one of the good ones. Having

In my Haynes manual for my 1997 D Turbo 306, It states you can check the air conditioning by looking at the "Air conditioning system drier bottle sight glass" apparently this has a sight glass and humidity indicator

Model june 1996 1.8i 16V petrol. Temp mostly around 85-90 degrees C, with occasional peak to 95C. Is this normal/acceptable ? Thanks in advance, David.
