our Peugeot 406 Familia, 1.8 inj, aged six years old, shows some problems

sometimes it is realy difficult: only after repeated efforts during ten
minutes the engine starts. There seems to be no relation to

Hi, my Pug 205 D has decided to let water in after all the rain we've been
having. I can see what looks like the path when I open the back hatch and
look at the sides just behind the back seat. The rear window seals look like
they are slightly open at the top rear corner of the ...
Replacement key27 Jun 2004 21:44 GMT3
Does anyone have any suggestions where I can source a spare key (not a

306 AC Regass Cost?27 Jun 2004 15:36 GMT11
My air con has eventually given up. Light comes on but no cooling.
Been on the decline for a couple of years but as I rarely use it (306 or AC)
I haven't been too fussed. When it comes on automatically I let it run for
ten mins as a precaution then turn it off.
Looking for 205 fog lamps27 Jun 2004 07:31 GMT2
Any sites out there that sell OE 205XS front fog lamps?
Mine have rusted away to nothing, and I'd rather not get ripped off by
a dealer if I don't have to...

Running dry of diesel26 Jun 2004 18:23 GMT17
My little pug 205d ran out of diesel the other day. First warning was the
revs climbing - opposite from running out of petrol. What is that? is it
sucking oil from the engine or something? Anyway I filled up with a gallon
in a container from the petrol station which was 300 yards ...

I've finally got around to getting some replacement front fogs for my 205

dash rather than have them come on when full-beam is on.
I've got a spare dash switch (in fact I've got about 6 so I can blow some
306 XLd - engine nightmare25 Jun 2004 20:55 GMT2
Shortly after buying the car 2 years a go, I had to have the head gasket
done. It went again a few weeks ago and so I've had to spend ?440 having it
replaced (+ head skim etc). Unfortunately, it's not resolved the problem and
the mechanic tells me I need a new engine :-(
