Towed with my 406 for the first time and the rear sagged down. What is the
easiest way to stiffen the suspension?

I have a 1989 405-Mi16 which tends to idle at high speed (2200-2500 RPM)
when stopping at traffic lights or else.  Reading some of the postings on
this, one suggestion was to clean the idel control valve which my mechanic
just did, but that didn't seem to help.  Do you think ...

I keep loosing air con 2-3 days after system being charged, ive had the
seals in the compressor changed,seals in the condensor changed,had the
system charged with dye thats visible with UV light but cant find a leak,
there is obviously a leak but where, has anyone else suffered this ...

Equiring on the offchance that someone has a redundant one.
It is 647mm from tip to top and a spiral sringy strip with a small yellow
soft plastic moulded top.
Mine has lost so much of the plastic it is in danger of dropping down into

My 406 1.9td recently smells terrible , any ideas , I think it might be the
air-con. Cleaned the washer bottle out because that was dirty but the
unpleasent smell  is still there.

I've recently bought a 1998 406 estate - nice car etc.
Is there an adaptor plate so that I can remove the standard stereo and use
my nearly new CD player in the 406, or do I have to stick with the original
one?

Just wondered if a heavy clutches were a 306 "thing" ? as i've had two and
they've both been quite stiff to push down...
any insight?

I have a G reg Peugeot 205 XL, the radiator fan does not kick in at all,
how do I test to see if it is the actual fan or the thermostat switch
Any advice?

Has anyone had problems with the computer system, our one keeps flashing up
with a warning that there is an antipollution fault, have taken it to two
dealers and the problem is still happening a year and a half later.

I drive a peugeot 406 (stick), and the gear shifter seems to have a lot of
slack in it. I wonder if there could be a problem with the transmission or
that it is simply an issue of tightning a bolt somewhere? I have googled for
ages, but I seem to be the only one with this problem. ...

I was just wondering.. haven stripped out all the seat belts in my pug 205
and fitted some 3 point harnesses.. using the same mounting points as the
orig .... will my car fail the MOT as someone told me the orig ones had to
be in the car....?

has anyone had sudden failure of hdi fuel pump . Mine happened 10 days out
of 3yr warranty and despite garage asking peugeot for contribution its was
