My HDI 90 (actually in a Xsara) doesn't want to rev over 4000, and the fuel consumption is rather worse than I had expected. It pulles really well at lower revs, far better than the 1.9 TD in my old 405. It was serviced, according to the manual, 3000 miles ago by a main agent, so

| 406 retaining pin keeps breaking | 13 Sep 2004 00:11 GMT | 5 |
Bear with me. This needs a bit of explaining. On a 406, there is a large nut right at the end of the drive shaft which is visible if you remove the wheel trim. There is a hole drilled through the drive shaft, but the nut itself is not castellated. Instead, there

Was wondering if there are any Peugeot techs who might know what transmission code 130 is on a 206 automatic 1.4 2001? My scanner reads undocumented code. Even when cleared, the code returns immediately.

On turning the ignition key to start there is often just a click. A few goes will cause the starter to turn over and it isn't really a problem but is this a sign of a starter problem or ignition switch or wiring/bad earth? Any easy cures?
