307 oil level indicator27 Oct 2004 22:27 GMT4
I have just had the oil level sensor replaced for the third time on my
51 reg. 307 Rapier. The dealer claims that it's a totally new design
with a new part number and ought to finally cure the problem of false
low oil warnings.
306 Caution ! Warning Light27 Oct 2004 22:23 GMT7
My Exhaust Silencer fell off the car the last Sunday, and the pipe that
connects this to the next box up also needed to be replaced. The day that it
happened the Red Warning Light (!) would come on when i wasn't giving the
car any revs (i.e. round a corner). The next day the light ...
306 more silly questions27 Oct 2004 22:18 GMT5
Some more queries entered my mind, again they're probably not possible, but
worth asking anyway. Won't ever find out if I don't ask!
Firstly, how easy is it to convert the manual windows to electric ones, and
how easy is it to get the parts/motors to do this?

I?m having some problems with my 98 Peugeot 306 1.4 it tends to rev up and
down a bit at low revs, also it cuts out when coming to a stop( traffic
light ect) I re-adjusted the accelerator cable, this seems to solve the
problem but shouldn?t the revs be more regulated? I am also ...

206 Miss-fire27 Oct 2004 19:20 GMT3
I have a 1998 206, 1.4 GLX (8 valve).
Recently it has started to miss-fire when warming up.  It seems to reach
about 3000rpm then hits a mega flat spot throughout the rest of the range.
Initially I thought that a plug / lead might have been tracking, but I am
MY 306 Whips in when turning right!27 Oct 2004 17:51 GMT7
I have a problem with my 306 dturbo.
When turning right at normal road speed my car whips in!. By this i mean it
will turn right as normal then suddenly turn in a bit more without actually
turning on the steering wheel. As you can imagine this can be quite hairy if
405 heater matrix27 Oct 2004 09:44 GMT6
Wish me luck!
First there was a smell of anti-freeze in the mornings ... now there is
fluid in passenger foot well.
So it must be my turn to change a heater matrix.  It's obvious from
406 HDi 110 advice27 Oct 2004 01:03 GMT2
I'm looking at buying an ex-company owned 406 HDi 110 GTX Estate (45k miles,
2001/51) from my employer. I've spoken to the driver who had it from new. He
tells me it's never been crashed or needed any bodywork repairs, never been
smoked in and been well looked after. But it has ...

I am after a towball for my 1995 M 205 TD.  It has the official Peugeot
towbar unit with a round receptacle and locking pin - but no tow bar! Anyone
know where I can get this?
Thanks,
307SW 110HDi - Diesel additive minimum level26 Oct 2004 10:48 GMT3
After refulling today I got this warning in the display 'Diesel additive
minimum level'. I've used this gas station for at least the last year, and
have never had this problem before.
Could anyone explain this warning - and what should I do about it
What tyres for 405 TD estate?26 Oct 2004 10:03 GMT6
I'm just about to put new tyres on the front of my 405 TD estate, takes
185/65 R14. Alloys, if it matters. What would you recommend?
We do a lot of city stop/start with quite a lot of acceleration/braking,
mixed some long-haul high speed motorway stuff.
306 Estate Squeaking26 Oct 2004 09:19 GMT2
I bought an S-reg 306 1.9TD Meridian estate recently, which is fine, but for
one irritating oddity.
When steering left, there is a fairly loud high-pitched squeaking noise,
with a bit of vibrato.  The noise is not there when steering straight ahead
406 CD Changer retro-fit26 Oct 2004 08:50 GMT2
Hi.  Hope someone can help me.  I have a June 1996 N registered 406 with
stereo that has autochanger controls.  I would like to retro-fit a CD
changer to it and believe it is a clarion unit I require but am unsure as
to which model it is that has the correct connection.  Alsoi, I ...
306 rev counter26 Oct 2004 08:45 GMT1
This is probably a really silly question, but I'm going to ask anyway just
incase it is actually possible.
Is there any method of removing the clock on the 306 dash and replacing it
with a rev counter? If so, where would be the best place to get the parts,
