Please excuse a stupid question..... I heard that the 90 and 110 BHP versions of the 2 litre diesel were only different because of software in the engine management system. Is it possible to "overclock" the 90 just by an adjustment to this software? Is

My Sister Just bought 405 turbo D 110k,Nice looking,6 yrs service records Just had new glowplugs and battery.Seems great! But doesn?t start happily at all in the morning,turns over fine,pre heater light comes on,for about 7 seconds and relay clicks.

One day it ran fine, the next, it would crank, but wouldnt turn over (it froze during the night). Everything seems to be in good order. All the hoses and belts are good, the fuel is flowing and there seems to be enough voltage, what am I missing?

I got a 106 1,4 from 1996. The engine acts strange when the car has been standing in the rain. It feels as if there is no ignition on all cylinders. It is nearly impossible to drive in the car.

I've got a 1997 306 1.4LX engine (P reg, MKII), and been having problems with it for a while. This afternoon I went to start the car, and the car turns over, i.e there's plenty of power in the battery, but for some reason the engine just won't fire.

I wonder if you can help please. I have had an N reg 405 estate, automatic , petrol for about 3 years now. Other than a few minor problems, i.e new battery, light bulbs etc relatively trouble free.

I've got a P reg 306 TDs and recently a warning light next to the Air Bag light on right hand side of dash comes on. The light is red and has a symbol on it that has wavey lines at the bottom (indicating fluid?), an upturned dish on top of the lines.

Had the radiator replaced only around a month ago and i had to drain the system to add anti freeze which wasnt done at the time. I found a white plug at the top right of the radiator which un screws to let water out. My question is should this be a metal one ? Is the plastic one
