I was hoping somebody could shed some light on a problem I seem to
have... I have just been advised that the drop link ball joints on my
2000 206 GLX have become worn and have a fair bit of play in them. The
mechanic says it's not an urgent issue but that they will probably

I'm looking for a way to remove the top of the dash on a series 1 405 pug.
The top looks detachable, but i don't know how and would like to know.
The local (friendly!) pug dealer said it was a piece of cake but did not
give me details (dumb me for not asking how ;-)

I've got a '91 205 XS 1.4, was just wondering what sort of price I
should expect to pay to get the clutch replaced, as it is slipping
(been on the way out for a while) after I installed a pipercross
filter.

radios display that shows what station is playing has gone haywire, and now
only shows a part of the digital station numbers, is there any way to fix

Got a Clarion PU-9318a & a PU-9833a radio cassette player.
Got the code numbers and both work.
What I would like to know now is, how on earth do I store radio stations. I

I never  thought that I would say this but, I miss the air con for demisting
the car.
Working fine, then - nothing. The condition of the bottle is showing

  I have the 306 'alarm intermittently goes off for no reason'
problem. When I use the steering column switch to turn off the
interior alarm then it stops going off for no reason, so it must be
the interior sensors. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

I recently bought a 1999 Peugot 406 3.0 V6 with 82,000 miles on the clock.
After sarting the engine and driving about 10 miles, the Stop light on the
centre console comes on, the screen reads Engine Temp Too High and the fan

There was some discussion about this topic some time ago but if anyone can
help I've got a couple more questions.
Firstly, the resistor on my car has been blowing every couple of months or

Can anyone help? I have a problem with immobiliser, both lights on (red and
green) and won't start? I have a 406 1.9 turbo diesel, I have tried
re-setting the ecu and that works for a short time but does not solve the
problem. I was told that it's not an ecu fault but a dds sensor ...

406 HDI 90 Estate (Rapier): central locking but not remote:
driver's door lock barrel just rotates when trying to lock/unlock with
key: won't engage. Is this a common problem? Any ideas, or does it need
new lock?

The heater in my 406 only gets lukewarm no matter how high I set the
temperature on the digital climate control display. Tepid air comes
through the side dash vents mainly, very little through other vents. Also,
the fan speed can be changed manually, but does not run up to high
