Life span of mechanical parts on Pug 40607 Nov 2004 17:50 GMT5
Probably a wide topic but here goes. I know that you would expect a diesel
engine to go for many miles (2001 HDI has done 97k already and shows no
signs of wear yet) but what things should I be aware of for regular
maintenance/wear.

406 Clutch Wear??04 Nov 2004 14:27 GMT1
I have a 406 2.0L Petrol on approx 80,000 miles. It has a lot of free play
in the drive train causing heavy clonking on taking up and releasing the
drive. Driveshafts seem fine. I'm hoping it might just be wear in the
clutch plate hub, as this wouldn't be too bad to fix, but not ...
