This weekend the indicators have started to develop a mind of their own.
When you engage the indicator to make a turn and complete the manouevre
the stalk returns to rest but the indicator keeps flashing. A little nudge
in the opposite direction and it stops but re-occurs on the ...

Our 307's been to the dealer six times, as you may have read before, for the
exhaust to be fixed.
The last time was to fix the 'squeak'. Which seemed to resolve all the
issues. But now, the dealer's phoned us, out of the blue, to offer a new

Its central locking bounce time again and the wires from the connector on
the drivers side door (that cause central locking bounce when broken) have
been re-soldered too many times and are now quite short.  I need to fit a
new connector and wires.

A couple of quick questions:
1.  Will the starter motor from a 205 GTI 1.9 (G reg I think) be the same as
a BX GTI 8v (H reg) ?
2. Will the clutch from the same 205 be the same as the one in the BX?  And

Is there anybody who has an electronic copy(or knows where to download one)
of the 406 V6 drivers guide.
It is for the 1999 model.
Just bought one, no handbook, trying to work out controls etc.

Yesterday I had my 406 Estate (2.0 HDi Yr2000) fully loaded in the back -
i.e. rear seats down and a heavy load.
What I did notice was the car was much nicer to drive - any comments as to
why I might have thought this??

I have to adjust my beams alignment, for I have changed bulbs with new
ones, and I had different beam heights..

Hoping someone might be able to give me some advice.  The passenger
side electric window motor on my Peugeot 306 xsi (3 door 1995) seems
to have packed up.  I've managed to get hold of a new window motor
from an equivalent car but with 5 doors.  Does anyone know if the

After 4 years from new I have my first electrical prob. Lights all OK this
morning. On starting tonight both dipped headlights not working. Offside
sidelight not working.
From the handbook this impliers three seperate fuses namely 31, 32 and 35.

I notice that on the 206cc the headlight lenses are clear and have no
scoring which you can cover with black tape to block the dipped beam going
too high up on the left for driving abroad. I understand the French police
sometimes blockade and fine drivers if the headlights aren't ...
