Everytime I turn any corner my 306 XND L-reg makes loud clunky
grinding type noises.
Other wise it goes like a peach and has just had a new drive shaft
fitted ( noises were there before this was fitted).

Maybe somebody out there can help me:
I have got two roof bars to carry lugage on top of my 306 XN Sedan (from
1999) and  I seem to have misplaced the bolts which are used to fit them to
the roof top (behind the door rubber).

Can anyone enlighten me as to whether the 106 1.4 diesel sump has a
gasket or is just sealed with gasket compound? I think ours has got a
slight leak (one of two possible places) and at some stage I'm going to
have to remove it and try to reseal it. The Haynes BoL doesn't mention

I got in my car this morning to go to work and turned on the blower to clear

garage did not know & I cannot see it in the Haynes manual.

When removing the drivers seat. Is it sufficient to dis-connect the battery
to avoid seat belt tensioner problems?

Any thoughts re.charging my 12v golf trolley battery from the cigar socket.just
for whilst driving  home,it will not stay on parked flattenning my battery.
As I have two towing sockets I intend later to run a live feed from the Fridge
wire and another to ground this will only charge ...
