| Pikey Problems | 22 Mar 2005 15:45 GMT | 14 |
Just asking for a little advice on my 406 2.1 Td. I have just had what I can only presume is a gypsy calling at the door asking if I had any gardening/landscaping work that needs doing, I replied "I do that myself".

| 406 poor dip headlamps | 22 Mar 2005 14:27 GMT | 17 |
Anyone got any ideas as to how to improve my 406 hdi's headlamps. I find it hard to drive over 30mph on unlit roads if I can't use full beam (which is great). Perhaps different bulbs?? Regards Phil Western.

| 406 2.1 TD Glow Plugs | 22 Mar 2005 00:28 GMT | 2 |
Does 30,000 miles since last replacement seem low? I seem to recall that last time I needed to turn the starter more than once was just before the glow plugs failed. I seem to be getting the same thing again so suspect them again.

| Christine lives | 21 Mar 2005 23:54 GMT | 8 |
If you remember the film Chistine then I think my 406 has the same condition. The car has mind of its own. Cruesing at 50-60 then the car suddenly takes off by its self up to 5000rpm on the rev counter. Also when at traffic

Immensely silly question but I don't have the manual for my wife's second hand 306. Our little girl is getting to that lovely "if it's got a handle I have to open it" stage of life. I can't find any switches in the rear doors to

I have a 2002 1.4 206HDi Style 3 door. The letter "i" fn the "HDi" badge is green, so I've been told this is the ECO engine, is that right? The published MPG figures for this car is 65MPG on a combined cycle, but I have only been able to get 50MPG at best, and that was from 2 long ...

Garage had the battery off to fix the gearbox. They told me I had to re-set my immobiliser as they couldn't get the car started. While paying the bill, they amazingly got the car started by typing in the code. Took the car home, and now the car won't start, the immobiliser

| 306 Central Locking | 18 Mar 2005 21:27 GMT | 9 |
Central locking playing up on 1998 LX 306. Locking via any of the front doors causes the locks to lock and then straight away unlock all the doors, a bit of a security problem me thinks. Temporarily got round the problem by removing the relevant fuse (but this cuts power to the ...
