Peugeot 406 2.0 litre Lx Cambelt25 Apr 2005 07:54 GMT10

What sort of price would you expect to pay to get the cambelt changed?
From Peugeot Franchise?
Independent garage?
2002 Peugeot 406 2.0 Executive Audio Fitting24 Apr 2005 22:56 GMT4
I'm trying to fit a JVC KD-LHX501 to my 2002 Peugeot 406 2.0 Executive.
I can get the unit powered, but no sound comes out the speakers.  I have
read that this can be caused by the JBL amp not being triggered because of
the wiring.  The car has JBL speakers in the rear, but I can't ...
405 estate mk2 radio aerial24 Apr 2005 20:50 GMT3
Does the radio aerial of a mk 2 405 estate unscrew from the mount
fitted to the front of the roof?
May be obvious but past experience has made me realise that its better
to ask first  ;-)
Peugeot 306 Left Indicator stuck on24 Apr 2005 15:44 GMT1
I have a 1995 (N-plate) 306 XS. Every so often when I start the car the
left indicators will come on a stay on. The right indicators operate as
normal.
The only way I have found to turn off the left indicators is to disconnect
Pug 806 - General Questions23 Apr 2005 17:19 GMT6
Having read a few posts from unhappy people with 807's who in the
main appear to wish they still had the 806 it made me think.....
Have recently purchased a 2001 806 LX 2.0 Auto (petrol).  Really
wanted a diesel but they didn't do a diesel auto in the 806.
Peugeot 405 1.9TD losing water22 Apr 2005 23:18 GMT10
I have a high mileage 405, 1.9TD. Recently, I noticed steam coming from the
offside front of the car, although the temperature guage read normal. I had
been driving for around 20 mins on a dual carriageway when I hit slow
moving traffic and noticed the steam after a few minutes. I ...

Does anyone know what the sunshine sensor does? (on top of the dash, in the
middle, between the windscreen vents)
I know it's something to do with the automatic air con but what?
This is on a 1999 406 with climate.
406 - Problem With Radio22 Apr 2005 18:26 GMT1
I'm having some intermittent problems with my radio - every so often
the speakers will give out what I would call an alarm type sound,
constant beeping! - the radio display seems to revert to the GPS.
The other day the radio was behaving in this manner and when I
306 D Turbo Glow plug problem21 Apr 2005 17:27 GMT5
I'm having a problem starting my 1.9 306 D Turbo. When I switch the
ignition on, about 50% of the time, the Glow Plug indicator light does not
come on & the car won't start. Also, when it does start, the engine sounds
rattly & I get pale smoke for about 10 seconds. I have replaced ...
pug 205 1.6 gti + PCV location21 Apr 2005 15:12 GMT1
I'd like to give the crankcase breather PCV a clean, but I can't locate
it. The workshop manual does not refer to it.
Any idea where this valve is located, and if it is cleanable
Thanks
Peugeot 10621 Apr 2005 09:17 GMT1
Sound on a thump from the back of the car followed by a grinding noise
and hissing noise from the brakes. Nothing obvious after a few miles
another thump and it was a lot better. Anyone have any suggestions
Thanks
206 fuel tank capacity21 Apr 2005 09:00 GMT3
I have a 2000 manual 1.6l petrol 206XT (very happy with it,
trouble free 120,000 km, apart from a dent in the front from a
couple of galahs - Aussie cockatoo type bird, not a politician).
A couple of weeks ago I got very close to an empty tank and
clocked peugeot 40621 Apr 2005 04:17 GMT3
I’ve just bought a peugeot 406 TDI S reg private and to my dismay I’ve
found out it has been clocked. That’ll teach me to rush. Of course the
police or trading standards don’t want to know . The last record I
have of the mileage was 112,000 in 2002.  its doesn’t look in bad
