heater matrix has just gone on my 'K' Pug 405 Estate - 1.8 petrol. My daughter was driving - she had to call out the RAC - and they have bypassed the heater to get her home. How expensive is it to replace the heater matrix?

I swerved to avoid a sheep and hit up under the front of the car, I now find that the warning horn does not work and have observed superficial damage to wiring under the centre of the engine. I have to assume that this damage is causing the horn problem.

I’ve had an intermittent problem in my ’96 2.0LX 406 over the last couple of weeks. Occasionally on tickover, the engine revs will drop to about 600, then up to about 1200, then back down. It will keep doing this for the rest
