I have just begun to spend a fair bit of money on this car and I wondered if
its all worth it!
So far this month I have had new drums on the rear, shoes, and bearings.
Then I had new P-bushes to the front lower suspension arm fitted, last month

I have a 2000 2.0Hdi 406 estate, and the airbag warning light on the
dashboard is now flashing constantly.
Is there any easy (cheaper than a dealer!) way to determine what the fault
is and rectify it?

Well here is the update on my 307 wipers that wouldn't stop....
Steer column control unit changed - problem not fixed
BSI changed - problem not fixed
Next step....new wiper motors and mechanism.....!!!

My m reg 306 has just come back from mot (not sure yet what it had
done) - but when it came back the rear of the car shudders, the brake
pedal shudders and so does the steering wheel when you apply a fair
bit of brake. I tried pulling the handbrake up a bit when driving and

I'm looking after my parents Peugeot 806 while they are away but the alarm
keeps going off. Have locked up according to manual, all windows & doors
shut properly. Any advice appreciated.

Just got a recall notice for our 2002 307 1.6. Says the wiring in the
steering column or something can corrode in salt water, fuse and cause a
fire in extreme cases. So this is the same fault as seen in the Scandinavian
307s that went up in smoke. Interesting. I wonder how many ...

The horn on my daughter's '89 405 (petrol) will only operate with the engine
running.
With the ignition on, pressing the horn button will operate a relay and dim
the dash lights but the horn doesn't work.

I know you two guys work on Peugeots and are very knowledgeable about them.
Nigel may remember, from the affair of the Recirculation Motor, that my 406
2ltr HDI 110 is a hybrid.   It was built in 1999 and shares parts from the
phase one cars with parts from the phase 2 model.    ...

I have a 1994 405 TD estate. I am replacing the drum brake shoes but cannot
decide if the handbrake operating lever goes on the inside or outside of the
shoe. The haynes manual pictures both. any help appreciated.

i recently bought a W Reg peugeot 106 and noticed a slight smell of damp
when i got in every morning. Then when there was heavy rainfall i also
noticed water on the floor on the drivers side. water has now started
leaking and dripping from the pedals and botom of the steering wheel. ...

Is there any way to permanently alter the volume of the traffic
announcements on the standard single slot cd/radio deck on a 2002 pug
106? The TA comes on and quite often the volume is lower than what I
have the radio set to for normal listening.

I have a small red warning light that has come on the bottom right
