I would appreciate any comments or advice as to a problem The car is a yplate 406 GLX saloon. The radio displays all its information i.e. selected station volume control indicators but no sound come out of the system. Suddenly it kicks into life.

Does anybody knows where is wiper relay for front wipers? Car is peugeot 306, Saint Tropez, 1999. Wipers are working bit not parking properly and i dont hear clicking so i think that reley dead. Thanks!

The wastegate on my turbo seems to open too soon. I rigged up a gauge to the take off on the right hand side of the inlet manifold and I get 9psi max reading. This seems too low. Does anyone know the factory setting for the max maniflod pressure on this engine?

So, the wife's car starter motor is on the decline. How do I know because I have to use a hammer to hit the motor to make the brushes connect. So Ineed to take it out and it looks quite difficult as it's behind the engine (1.6 petrol) and looks difficult to access.

Sussed why the engine sounded like a tractor! One of the bottom studs on the back of the head for the exhaust manifold has bust and left the remains of the stud in the head. So, the air box needs to come off and the manifold off too but what are my chances of getting the broken ...

Just done 850 miles from London to halfway down France and back mostly at 70-80 mph and got 46.5 mpg out of a 100,000mile 405 1769cc turbo diesel estate. Is this just normal ... or better?

My front washer pump seems to have failed - 1992 405 TD estate. I've taken off the spring holding clip on the big reservoir in front of the driver, but I can't work out what fiddly movements are necessary to get the reservoir out to change the pump. Any guidance welcome. Thanks.

On my Peugeot 306 1.6 1998, I have noticed that when temperatures are hot outside my engine isnt performing as well as it should do, as it runs very different when temperature is cooler, got a lot more poke to it, is this called engine pinging or something, as it sounds slightly ...
