It's about time I renewed my pollen filter (206 4 yrs old) so I popped
into halfords.  They told me I needed a 'Cabin Filter' - and they had
lots of boxes with cabin filters in them, is this the same thing?

'99 406 2Litre Petrol.
Idle speed fluctuates +/- 50rpm or so, feels a slight misfiring/miss. Can
feel it at speed too, if I keep the throttle absolutely still.

Hi, I know that the RD4 radio CD player has a Mp3 capability that has
to be switched on by the dealer and will involve having a socket
fitted. If the radio has the Mp3 switched on will the CD player
recognise a CD containing MP3 files? Is there a charge for switching

back again!! another problem with 206 1.9d just been out to shops  and back
again. on my route i have to go over a lot of speed bumps, only the noise
that come from the front of my car sounded awful, like a really loud heavy
creeking sound. sorry to keep bugging you but being female ...

anybody got any ideas what could be causing my 206 1.9 diesel to bleep? after
starting the engine and pulling away i hear 3 same pitch bleeps. it does'nt
happen all the time only now and again but its starting to do me bonce in!!
any help would be appreciated :)

does anyone have any experience with K+N air filters fitted to a hdi
engine?. Thinking about either keeping the original airbox and just
upgrading to a K+N filter or maybe fitting an induction kit , any
suggestions?.Ive got a 2.0 hdi 90bhp

I recently got a 2002 206 GTI, but the CD changer was missing.
I've now obtained a new CD changer from the dealer and fitted it
myself but the radio (head unit) refuses to recognise it.
I'm now told that the radio needs to be configured to recognise the CD

Got a 106 1.1i '94. Dash has no rev counter but a clock instead. Looking to
swap it out for a rev counter. 3 questions i would like some help with?
1. Does anyone know if you can easily remove the clock?
2. What models of 106 (series 1) had a rev counter fitted? 1.4i?

The car uses the same computer display for radio/milage readout etc etc.

Im fitting a 206 engine into my 205. got the wiring, ecu and
everything needed.
The engine is already in the bay. Fits well using the 205 upper engine
mounts. The two engines are basically the same. The previous was a

The M reg 306 my grandson has bought has had the heater matrix bypassed
.... they just cut through the two pipes and put a bit of linking tube
in as the bypass (which came apart due to it being tapered and the
Jubilee clip not being tight enough .... result engine seizure and a

I was down the local garage the other week and he had a horror story about
one of the timing end pulleys breaking up on the 1900 diesel engine. Said it
was common.
Has anyone on here experienced such a problem??? It was a new one on me!
