I wonder if anybody can tell me what the redlight is for under the dash
on a 405.the light lense is by the steering wheel about knee hight,there
is two wires coming from it but i have never took the trouble to follow
the wires to find out where they go.the car dos not have a tow ...

i have 95 405 glx diesel and have a problem with the ignition cylinder i can
start the car ok bt the spring has broken it can turn the key freely whilst
it is running

We have a P 307 1,6 petrol. When the outside temperature is low, the engine
sounds like a diesel for the first couple of minutes - "rattleling". When
the engine is warm, the engine sounds perfectly OK. It doesn´t eat oil, and
the motor is only 35000 km on the speedo. Any ...

Inside the key case of my "M" reg 306 1.4 LX is a small electronic chip /
transponder which is part of the security system.
