Hi, I left my lights on while at work about half a year ago; clever me I know. Needless to say the battery went dead and I had to jump start it. The radio was asking for my code, so I put in the code I had; which had

| Petrol in diesel 1.9TDi :( | 31 Jan 2006 19:59 GMT | 16 |
My better-half put £20 of unleaded in my 1998 406 1.9TDi yesterday! Luckily she did not start the car as she realised what she had done in time. Is there any way to drain the tank in-situ on my car or is it a case of the fuel tank has to come out to be emptied? I can't see a drain ...

Hi; I recently bought a 406 GLX 2.0 petrol from an auction. The thing is that the previous owners made it so that the High frequency key fob (the one with two buttons) deactivated the immobiliser which is fine for now. What

| 407 SW Air Conditioning crashes | 29 Jan 2006 16:58 GMT | 1 |
I have a Feb-2005 407SW S 1.8 that has a recurring problem. Has anyone else seen this as it's driving me nuts. Sometimes, more frequently in icy conditions, the A/C (air conditioning) will effectively crash on starting the car. The symptoms are as follows.

| 206 Noise from supension | 27 Jan 2006 18:30 GMT | 9 |
My other halfs 52 plate 206 1.9HDi (~53K) has started to make a noise, best described as being like hitting a thick cast iron pipe with a soft faced mallet(!) when going over bumps/potholes. Sounds like its coming from the rear suspension but doesn't do it every time or when there ...

Long story short.....my mum's W reg 306 developed a fault with the rear wind screeen wiper (kept blowing fuses in the main fuse box). She took the the car a local Peugeot garage, who carried out a "dignostic check" and said the motor in the wiper had gone and needed replacing. ...

| 206cc door | 25 Jan 2006 19:38 GMT | 5 |
Has anyone come across a 206cc drivers door hitting the front panel when opening? My daughters 206cc's door caught on the front panel when she opened the door and damaged the wing. Peugeot deny that it is a build/warranty problem and she now faces a £1000 bill or claiming on ...
