I'm the lucky ovner of a great Peogeot 406, but does anybody have some good
ideas of where to buy styling for it ?

help problem what fuel type petrol or diesel for 20613 Feb 2006 14:04 GMT6
I have a friends car for the week (a pug 206), and he has asked to get
her a refill of fuel for him coming back.  He said that its a petrol
engine however on the petrol cap it shows a black icon of a fuel pump
with the letter P, surrounded by a "no" line, as if sayin "No Petrol".

Anyone heard of cambelt breakage on these engines?
I'm approaching 74,000 miles (Xantia 90 hdi - a bit power boosted) and the
book says change at 100,000.
If I leave it till autumn it will be up to 87,000.

my cars done about 65000 and i am not sure if it needs one or not please help!

Hi, just noticed today a little connector that wasn't plugged in at the
right side of the engine, some sort of sensor ? Anyway, now its plugged in I
noticed the temperature guage on the dashboard is working and going into the
red after a 3 mile or so drive, I presume the "sensor" ...

I am looking at fitting the motors which help the wing mirrors come in
automatically, does anyone know where i could get them from and roughly how
much they would cost. and also is it an easy job? cheers

I dont suppose anyone her knows why the hell peugeot didnt put a keyhole on
the boot of my W reg 206 xs?
When my keyfob central locker thing dies I guess ill put a sign up saying
'boot locked, honest'

My W reg 306 HDi's speedometer cuts out intermittantly.  It drops
straight to zero, the milometer stops clocking and the engine looses a
very tiny bit of power.  It doesn't usually last for more than a mile
then kicks back in.  Has anyone got any thoughts on what's wrong?  My

I have a '97 306 XSi that has issues with cold stalling. I have tried all
sorts of remedies and 3 garages can't find any physical fault. It has been
suggested to get the software updated at a Peugeot dealer. Before I visit my
local dealer to experience their 'excellent customer ...

I'm thinking of replacing both front wings on 205 #3 with the ones from
one I am scrapping. I've read that they are just held on with bolts and
glue, but wanted to check before I take it to bits and find that it's
welded... And do you need to glue them on when replacing? (what glue
