Hi i have a 206 gti.
I went to start my car, but I had accidetly left it in gear. After
that, it would not start...the engine kept on turning, but would not
start. The only way i got it going again was to clutch start it... Is

My '97 406 ST IR ignition key has lost its rubber button.  Anyone know if
there is a spare part available (in OZ)

Red overheating light keeps coming on. Not sure why. Rad is o.k. and the
anti-freeze/water is up to the max line in the measure/overflow/extra bottle
thingy .. so I know that there is enuff coolant in there. Any other obvious
things to check? Am off to get a Haynes manual ...

My 306 DTurbo (P reg) is having a bit of trouble starting. I bought the
car last august and it has been no bother except it wouldn't always
start first time. It would nearly always start 2nd time however. Lately

Just had aircon regassed and was working OK but if car is left in the
hot sun (just when you need aircon) the compressor and fan cut out
after about 15 secs. Allow car to cool in the shade and everything OK.
Any clues as to what might cause this?

i was wondering if you could help me with something that would be considered
very simple. removing a stereo. i have a 2002 206 gti and i was wondering
what the easiest way to remove the head unit is.

Switched on the A/C today for the first time this year and nothing.Any
simple checks anyone could recommend or is it definetly a garage job.It
worked fine up to last September.Any advice appreciated.

When started from stone cold has a really bad misfire - starts no
problem, but struggles to build up revs and is a bit smokey (grey-ish).

on but the compressor clutch wont. i checked the pressure with a guage
and its just on the green/blue mark. i went to halfrauds to get a
refill can, then when i got in the car to come home to top up the air

hi all, i have a smell that comes from my heaters when i switch them on. it
seems as if  its sort of a smell of hot water if you know what i mean!! is
this the heater matrix?? how can i get around this??  is it hard to replace??
and is there any other ways arould this to bodge it up ...

the hand brake on.. it only says this when hand brake is on and engine
