Sump plug - what size for 405 Diesel23 Sep 2006 22:32 GMT4
We have a Peugeot 405 Turbo Diesel with a 1998 cc engine. Can anyone
tell me the type and size of the plug for the oil drain on the engine?
Square, hex ... and size.

Well at last i got one. got a 120amps fitted now before had 100amps but
nobody could get me lower than 120amp, and as for Roy Autos he was not
interested in fixing my old one just wanted to sell me new one at a
price that is why i went to another place and got it cheaper than him ...

On returning from a week abroad my 406 would not start.
Although the engine would turn over and there was fuel in the filter, no
fuel appeared to get to the engine.
The heater lights did not come on at all and despite the efforts of two

My '97 2 l 406 has a blown RHS front parking light globe.  I'm darned if I
can turn the holder (with the plastic built in lever) to get the bulb out.
Anyone got any smarts as to how to get the damned thing out?

Peugeot 306 no lights or heater motor
My sons P reg Peugeot 306 Diesel had no main beam, sidelights, rear
lights dash illumination and and the heater motor was not working. Fuse
7 under the dash had been replaced and a so called expert quoted £400

my 2004 206 Gti (136HP) behaives a little crazy since last week.
When you stop the car and keep the foot on the brakes you can remove the
ignition key and the motor keeps running until you release the brake, the
it turns the engine off.

Hi all - just joined but wanted to ask a question to see wether or not

Every so often, my hazard lights kick in for about 5-10 secs whilst I'm

My CD has developed a problem where by the CD only plays about one time
in 20.  Mostly it just takes in the CD, displays - -- Tracks for a few
seconds then ejects the CD.  Once in a while it will play, and once
playing it's fine until I either stop playing the cd or eject the cd.

Anyone got one of these?  I'm after a 306 estate, but I'd like to be
able to go up hills fully loaded and I'm not sure about the 1.4 for that.

Can anyone tell me if there is a reset feature on the climate control
unit?
I am not sure that the air direction controls are working, there seems
to be no diffrerence in where the air goes, unless I push the

I've a 2000 206 (high mileage, recently bought) that's acting possessed!
I've got a few problems with it, but the most prominent one is this

Can anybody help me?  have got a tester on a batt and the engine is
running and i am getting reading of 11.98v when engine is off getting
reading 12v what is at fault? please help as my wife needs to go out in
the car as soon as poss.

Morning all. The aux contacts on my switch seem to have gone again, after
being swapped out less than 3 years ago. As I contemplate my annual
pilgrimage to the french alps, I am quite keen to get the heater blower
working again!

Sorry this is a repost of a particular (excuse pun) fault on my 307 1.6
HDI which was in for occasional problems with starting.
The garage did an ECU check and it had two Permanent faults:
Pre/Post heating relay!
