1999 306 D Turbo - Does anyone know how I can identify which fuse is
for the cigarette lighter, or even what size of fuse it is would be a

Hi My 406 2.1 diesel S reg. kicks out black smoke on acceleration be it
light footed or heavy she constantly delivers black smoke.just had all
filters changed and new injectors. anyone got any ideas as to what the
problem could be,

The sticker giving the tyre ressure is missing on my 406 - can someone

Well the partner van has been in to the dealer today to have the rev gauge
looked at.
It turns out that the gauge (behind the instrument panel) is faulty. So it
needs to be replaced.

I'm asking because mine is quite heavy - also I crunch gears because I
get lazy and don't put enough effort in to fully depress the clutch.
That is a 1995 TD 405
Also my 205 Diesel was the same - had to replace the clutch cable on

There have been a lot of problems on here with strange noises from cars.
It reminded me of an extract I once read from the drivers manual for the
Model T Ford.   It said:

My 309 makes a dreadful grinding/droning noise from under the front end when
driving.  Sounds like a wheel bearing really on its final throws but its NOT
them.  Someone mentioned the intermediate bearing on the R/H driveshaft.
Any ideas?

My 309 has a terribly loud grinding/rumbling noise coming from beneath the
front when moving along.  It sounds like its from the near side area but as
noise travels it can also sound like the centre of the front too!  Any
ideas?  I think it might be a front wheel bearing but ...

I have a 406 2.0l petrol executive turbo 1998.  It doesn't get out much
now but for some reason the brake pedal is now taking 10 seconds to
return to normal position. Hence light staying on too long.  One day

I have a 406 2.0 turbo exec, on the drivers side near the drivers knee
there is a button that looks like it has a picture of a sensor or radar
on it.  Could anyone please tell me what it does if indeed anything.
