I have had the fault codes of my 406 2.0 HDi yr2002 read.
It has come up with fault code 1166 on a Siemans ECU.  Does anyone know what
this code represents?  I am having very poor fuel comsumption (33-36mpg at
absolute best) so hopefully it is going to be something to do with that ...

The main key (with the lock / unlock buttons) has somehow got bent and
so doesn't always start the car without a fight.  Would a locksmith be
able to straighten this and / or can anyone let me know how much a
replacement would be from the dealership?

Just had my pog 406 2.1 looked at for a smoking problem It has on low
revs, been advised that it is the cold start mechanism is sticking on?
(What ever this is) So my question is!  What is this cold start thing
is there such a thing on a diesel and if so can the average Joey in the

I've had an S reg 1998 206 GLX 1.4 for a few months now. The radio
display is very dim & when I switch the headlights on it almost

My 4 year old 307 Hdi has just started to give gear selection problems,
3rd gear can be selected after a crunch but on some occasions will kick
out, all the other gears are ok, although 4th did an imitation of the
crunch once. the car has covered 65.000 miles and has been dealer

i have a 206 1.4 petrol GLX, it is on a 51 plate and has recently
started juddering and the engine managment light is flashing, when cold
it starts fine and runs until it starts to warm up a little, then the
power seems to drop a little and starts to judder and the engine light

Hi, I have a Peugeot 306 1996 XLD.
Recently took it to a garage as sometimes its 'difficult' to put it in
first & sometimes you have to depress the clutch twice to put it into
reverse. but other than that its fine. Garage said i needed new clutch

106 1.5 diesel N reg. The fuel filter looked like it was leaking so I
changed it. I also notice a bit of a leak from above the filter so had a
closer look at that. There's a plastic doofus held in place with a star
style washer/circlip which turns out to be some sort of valve ...
