Hi, I am new here and hope I may get some help with this problem.
Pug 206 suddenly started misfiring, it is a 1100cc engine 4 cylinder,
4 year old car with only 20,000 miles, also the STOP light has come on
in centre of Speedo but engine management light is not lit.

the speedo on my N reg 1.8lx petrol is either not working at all or
bouncing irracticly wen engine is cold any ideas anyone?
any help would be great cheers

Anyone had this before.  I've purchased a 2001 206 GTi as my first car
(at the ripe of old age of 26!!) and after a couple of months of use I
am getting a screeching instead of air flow when using climate control.

Has anyone had the following symptoms ?
The car will start and run but intermittantly there will be clicking
from the left hand side of the car ( glovebox side ) and then the

hi  i have had several exhausts replaced due to the baffles blowing in
the rear box, i`ve been told that my fuel may be running to rich, how
can i adjust this, i`m no machanic so please reply in a simple way,

my xsi wont turn over, well it did once out of around a 100 goses. its
just giving a click witch sounds like starter/ solinoid. i removed the
starter and got it checked at the local auto electrics and the starter
is fine, while it was of i put the car in gear and rocked to inspect

I'm having a bit of trouble. Ive just bought a Clarion Pu-2294 cd player,
it came with a code that works. However, each time I start the car up the
cd player doesn't work, yet when the engine isn't on it will work. Also it
asks for the code everytime I turn the ignition on.

Has anybody heard of this before? a diesel engine very noisey when
start up.and when still cold. gave it a oil change and flter now it is
very quite.

This morning our Peugeot 306 wouldn't start.  It's a 1998, 1.4 petrol,
110k miles.
Turned the key and engine turned over fine, started very briefly before
stopping.  Tried again, kept turning over etc, but no sign of any ignition.

I have a nice 1989 205GTi - all it needs to be perfect is a new head gasket.
I will sell it for one pound to the first person that convinces me that
they'll fix the car and keep it running and perhaps let me have a 10 minute
ride every year or so.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the drivers side seat without upsetting the
air bag etc.
