Help Urgently Needed PLEASE!!!30 Nov 2007 20:36 GMT9
Yesterday I bought a 2003  406 2.0 litre 110bhp Diesel estate in Oxfordshire-
drove it back to London no problems and yet this morning it threw up the
engine diagnostics warning light after about 3 miles and has not gone out all
day. It's doing less than 25 mpg today ,when I was ...
306 leaky sunroof? Try checking...30 Nov 2007 20:31 GMT3
...the drains in the front corners.
I drove down the road and as I went up the next hill I had a sudden
influx of water - right into the controls for the sunroof/alarm
receiver. This was how it must have failed the first time - nobody had

306 replace bulbs behind the speed indicator28 Nov 2007 18:29 GMT9
I need to replace the lights behind the speed indicator and tachometer
at my car. Is it possible to do it myself (without deeper knowledge of
cars, but I know how to use tools).
I have a peugot 306, the old version from 1997.
Anyone ran their car on cooking oil28 Nov 2007 16:48 GMT2
Just wondering if anybody uses Cooking oil over Diesel. Heard a story
recently or a couple who went to Morrisons (two trolleys) and filled their
trolleys with boxes of cooking oil and left the trolleys full of empty boxes
and empty cooking containers.
Stuttering peugeot 206 engine28 Nov 2007 12:38 GMT1
Group,
I'm heaving the following problem with our 6½ year old peugeot 206 1.6 16v. Sometimes when driving
it starts to stutter a little, usually at around 2500 - 3000 rpm, and mostly in the first 15 minutes
after starting. Not everytime, and not continuously, but it is a litle ...
Dash bulbs on 80627 Nov 2007 00:25 GMT9
I want to exchange the bulb behind the odometer for an led, which I hope
will be brighter and make the figures more easily readable.  Can anyone tell
me how to access the  bulb holders?
My clock bulb has just failed as well.  Is there a trick to access that too?

I've just ordered a part at German, Swedish & French, paid the bill (part
£9*, shipping £5, doh), now it's a bit too late for the silly question, but
: has anyone ever ordered (or bought in-shop) at GSF, were you happy with
that ?
Injectors for D8A engine (306 diesel)22 Nov 2007 18:22 GMT3
Ok, found the engine code for my 306, it's D8A. I'm suspecting a
problem with the injectors as it runs rather lumpy until warm and is
poor on fuel.
Looking on www.uniteddiesel.co.uk the code for the injectors is
air bag warning lamp22 Nov 2007 12:18 GMT17
2003 307 3 Door XSi.

screen "Air Bag Fault".  Seems to happen if I turn the steering wheel
a little more suddenly than usual (from right to left).  Any ideas?
306 XTdt TDC/RPM sensor location?21 Nov 2007 22:58 GMT8
Aside from not having the RPM gauge working, I'm assuming (referring
to Haynes wiring diagrams) that the sensor also runs to the ECU.
Whereabouts is the sensor located on a 1995 XTdt? Someone mentioned it
on a forum stating that it was attached to the alternator, but I can't

Economy mode question on 40719 Nov 2007 20:15 GMT1
I have a 407 SW, and spend quite a bit of time in hospital car parks
listening to the radio.  But is there any way to disable the economy
mode?  The radio goes off after half an hour and turning over the
engine only gets it going for another 5 minutes.
106 no start probs19 Nov 2007 19:33 GMT4
Gotta 106 - it did start but now wont start!  Cleaned the engine bay with
Jizer and a little water - jug of water rather than bucket or hosepipe. Now
it won't start - has been left overnight in garage to dry off  any possible
water ingression.
