Intermittant issue with starting my 40631 Jan 2008 05:39 GMT2
Got a 2002 406 2ltr Petrol (Rapier). Every 1500 miles or so I'll start
the car from cold, it'll be rough as hell with messages like 'Pollution
control Failure' and 'catalytic converter failure'.
If I then stop the engine, turn her over, she'll fire up with no problem

307 diesel  Back Pressure?28 Jan 2008 14:53 GMT12
I lost my oil plug and my dip stick was sticking out more than it should. I
went to a Garage repair station to ask for ideas or a diagnosis, all I got
was " Your Engine is F-c*xD! it's back pressure and it's F-c*xD!
36 hours later my head is also in the same state. I was not given ...
406 Peugeot Estate28 Jan 2008 11:45 GMT3
I have just purchased a rear parking sensor kit from the local Peugeot
dealer. The kit is fine, but the instructions are similar to an IKEA fixit
kit. All diagrams and no words - not very easy to follow!
It would appear that the rear bumper needs to be removed according to the
1.9 diesel non turbo XU white smoke28 Jan 2008 00:01 GMT8
3 times I have stopped in traffic and seen white smoke blowing around
my car.  If I can drive at a reasonable speed it clears.  Has anyone
else had this and know what was the cure?
cooling fan contniuously on25 Jan 2008 17:37 GMT12
I have an 806 HDi. The cooling fan has started coming on about 10 seconds
after start up and doesn't go off (until I switch off!)
This happened on my old 806 with TD engine and was caused by a dirty
connection to a sensor on the thermostat housing.  Easily cured.

307 feline rear lights18 Jan 2008 00:21 GMT3
Does anyone know how to change the rear lights on a 307 Feline. It's the
unit that has the brake light in the middle with two semi circular side
lights surrounding it, looks like (0).
One of the two side lights on the left hand rear has gone and I couldn't

I own a 3 year old 407 Exec 2.2 Auto.
For the last few weeks I have had an intermittent fault where after driving
for abut 15 miles the rear o/s window keeps opening on its own, in steps and

307 head gasket and water pump damage10 Jan 2008 19:21 GMT1
Can a leaking head gasket cause damage to the water pump? Cause this is
the story I heard today from the service manager of my local dealership.
FYI, the car had started producing a distinct engine noise at 65K
(kilometers, not miles), which the mechanics attributed to a water ...
