1.6 HDi 2004 307sw
Ah, the common radiator fan problem that never stops running even with the
keys out (until the battery is dead). I am told that this is well known and
common on the 307 1.6 engine - the cat is right behind the radiator so

I can't believe this bloody car. I have only had it a couple of months, it
is the most I have ever spent on a car and I have already had more problems
than 20 years of driving crap old cars has produced.
406 - DIY servicing?24 Apr 2008 13:59 GMT14
As mentioned in another post, I'm looking for a 406 HDI. Is servicing one of
these a reasonable proposition for a DIYer?
406 Leaks?23 Apr 2008 20:46 GMT1
I've been looking for a Pug 406 estate, and two of the three I've seen so
far have had water on the boot floor. Is there a common problem with these
leaking?
307 HDi SW August 2003 (53 plate) OBDII complaince23 Apr 2008 19:20 GMT2
I believe that all european diesels had to be OBDII compliant in 2004,
but what about my 2003 307 SW?
Presumably, cars built after a certain VIN number will be compliant.
Does anyone know how to find out what that number would be?

2003 Peugeot 307 SW HDi 11021 Apr 2008 13:59 GMT21
My recently acquired 307 lacks power. Everything happens in the first
half inch or so of accelerator pedal movement. Pressing it beyond that
has little effect.
The local garage has just changed the timing belt at 95000 miles. I
Huge oil consuption18 Apr 2008 13:38 GMT1
My '99 406 2l petrol has been lately going through loads of oil and is
continually at the bottom of the dipstick. After putting another litre
or two in, it will read OK, along with the  dash display. There is no
droppage on the ground, and the exhaust looks ok. So where is it
307sw 1.6 hdi110, miles per gallon?15 Apr 2008 23:29 GMT17
I have the above car. Everywhere on the internet it says that it will do
around 50MPG (UK)There are lots of reviews where people seem to be getting
that sort of mileage. What a suprise - mine doesn't get above 42 and if I
drive normally I get 38. It has done 80,000 miles. It has ...

I've just noticed the my 20 month old Peugeot 407 Executive is showing
signs of damage to the lacquer at 2 places on the bonnet. Both areas
are about 4.0 cm in diameter. The lacquer around the edge is also
loose in parts so no doubt the damage will extend very quickly in time

I have a 206 which is ultra reliable but need a bigger car so was
looking at a 2-3 year old 307 SW HDI but after looking around the

them.
