My 97 406 has developed an irregular click behind the glove
compartment.  How hard is that to fix?

I need to get a new heater blower motor for my 97 406 , I've seen a
few on ebay but they don't all say which model they came out of . Can
anybody tell me are they all the same , series 1 & 2 with A/C or no A/
C etc ?.

Is there such a thing or a kit?

I,ve had air cooled VW,s for 44 years and thought of getting the Mrs a Golf.
Heard tales of horrific service costs though with constant "minor" problems.
308 looks a nice car, any general thoughts on reliabliity/servicing costs?.
