I'm searching for a way to use my 1988 Firebird TPI without having to install an Anti-theft module. I had to buy a new factory chip and the only one available was with antitheft. Unknown to me, I didn't realize you had to have this module to even start the car....duh.

how hard is it to replace a tilt bowl on a 3rd gen T/A? I was told by a friend its not hard to install, but you have to be careful. Or, is it better to replace the whole steering column? I called a junkyard, and they said I had to take the whole column.

If I was to plan to run 500rwhp, would I be doing too much work on the tranny of a 96 Trans Am? How about the engine? Would 500rwhp be too much for it? Anyone the the highest that the tranny and engine can take?

I know it's nbot an Fbody....but... I have a '90 S10, 5 speed/4cyl. Today when I got on it a little, it acted like it was spinning the rear wheels...without spinning the rear. I am sure it was the clutch. Does this mean it's at the end of it's life?
