Engine Identification06 Feb 2005 11:54 GMT9
This is a '67 Camaro with a "LT1 corvette engine with fuel injection".  If
anyone has the time, can you take a look at the pics on this site and be able
to tell me if this is a 1970's LT-1 engine or a 1990's LT1 engine.  I know
the engine has fuel injection, rather than ...
2nd gen electric fan swap05 Feb 2005 08:37 GMT6
Hi, I'm planning on tossing my belt-driven fan in my 1970 Trans Am and
instead going with 2 electric fans.  The radiator is 17" x 27.5", so I
guess 12-13" per fan is about as big as I can go.
I'm thinking about going to a junkyard to get some used fans though, as I

I need to find a resource that can decode the first 8 digits of a several
makes of cars. I usually won't have the remaining 9 digits so typical online
decoders won't work. Can anyone here steer me to a resource that can help me
determine the car line, body style and engine ...

98 Z/28 shaking/Vibration ???04 Feb 2005 00:27 GMT1
I have a 98 Z/28 with about 58k miles on it. Had the oil changed at 57k. I
am noticing that when the car idles in drive after driving on the freeway
some that it seems to "vibrate" to the point where you can hear it in your
ears. It does this at 600rpm and only after driving on ...
Help needed: 1991 Trans Am Tailgate Disassembly03 Feb 2005 07:45 GMT2
I want to disassemble the tailgate of my 91 Trans Am (with that
wrap-around spoiler) because I want to replace the glass. Now how do I
take that thing apart?
I removed the tailgate from the car (that was easy). Then I removed the
New Hunting reality show02 Feb 2005 23:53 GMT1
Have you heard about this new hunting reality TV show that's seeking
participants? It's called "Hunting for Bambi" and it's like
Fear Factor meets Girls Gone Wild. 6 guys get to hunt 12 naked women in
the woods with paintball guns. Sounds like it should be a new Olympic
Lady Needs Your Help-Re: Camaro02 Feb 2005 11:20 GMT12
I have a 1981 Chevy Camaro, which was giving to me by my older brother
who is in the Army and doesn't have time to take care of the car
anymore. It has a small 267 ( 4.4L )  V8 with almost 150,000 miles on
it. The  car has been garaged for the last 5 years, and needs work done
Window motor rivets02 Feb 2005 00:55 GMT4
How goes it all?
Trying to figure out these squirrley window motor rivets that came with the window motor.
They're half way threaded, almost headless bolts.  What head there is is hollow.
They also have an aluminum(?) collar with a head that slides down the bolt.

Sad news for me01 Feb 2005 03:44 GMT11
I had a car accident on my way home from work and it looks to me like the
car (my 2001 Firebird Formula) is a total loss.  I reacted suddenly to
maneuver around a vehicle that cut into my lane as we were going around a
bend to the right (on Park Presidio in San Francisco) and lost ...
Go ped on ROIDS01 Feb 2005 02:34 GMT3
Everybody has to see this one.  I don't know how the guy stays on the
thing.  It's like a 12 second powered foot scooter.  Oh yeah, it's a
race against a 01' Trans Am WS6.
