The Northwest is almost in a drought, and it's 70 degrees and sunny today,
(southern Oregon), should be the same for the rest of the week.  So it's
time to start my project this weekend.  (Now watch it turn cold, wet and

I have a 1987 pontiac trans am ok the under hood sticker says it has a 5.0  
liter in it the engine code in the vin is a H which is also 5.0 liter..ok  
but it has a 5.7 with a carb my question being did this car come stock  
with a 5.7 option and if it did was it carb or TPI?

I have a question about the ignition timing on an 85 305 TPI.  I have
always had trouble when I have needed to time the car.  I know that I
have to disconnect one wire that comes from the computer so that it is
not advancing the timing electronically when I set it.  Everywhere ...

I will soon be installing a vinyl top on a '69 Camaro.
I've seen 2 different variations on the layout of the top....
I was wondering if someone could offer some insight on these.
On one variation, the vinyl extends completely to the drip rail, and

The heater in my '68 Camaro causes condensation to form on the interior
windows,
but it's not 'greasy' like antifreeze, just wet. Any ideas?

Last Wednesday, Feb 2, was opening day for the 05 season at Sacramento
Raceway. Two '05 Mustang GT's showed up, and everyone was interested to see
what they could do. Both cars had 5-speeds. They both ran pretty consistent
between 14.25 and 14.50. The best time I saw all night ...

Well, it's not called a GTO. It's a Vauxhall Monaro. Just like the GTO is
the Holden Monaro. Not sure if it's imported from Austrailia, but I'm
