I bought an 89 RS for my son - it was repod. They broke the ignition switch and column to pieces in the process. Apparently this is a 89 with the VAPS theft prevention system, becuase it had the clip in the ign key.

Egads, I take a 3 week Vacation and people resort to the worst way to fix a car. There are test proceedures for EFI systems. If "your" mechanics can not properly test and diagnose these problems, got to someone else who can.

My floorboard under the driver's feet of my 1991 Firebird has recently rusted away. (I blame the years of leaky T-tops) The hole is about eight inches by eight inches. Right now, the only thing not making it a Flintstones-mobile is the carpet.
